Cape Estes is a lakefront community on the south side of Richland Chambers Lake, located off FM 416, just past the TRWD offices.
Established in 1995, the subdivision is divided into two units: Unit 1: 58 lots (38 waterfront, 20 lakeview) with a private boat launch for property owners. Waterfront home prices range from $275,000 to $425,000.
Unit 2: 34 tracts on Walker Trace, featuring site-built, modular, and doublewide homes.
Off-water homes start at $70,000.Most lots average half an acre and are wooded throughout, offering a scenic, private setting. Homes must be at least 960 sq. ft., with some RV use permitted in Unit 2. The community is in Freestone County and served by Fairfield ISD, just 16 miles from Fairfield.
